American Express cards are charged at 1.99% with Zeller Terminal.

For MOTO payments (also known as over-the-phone payments), Zeller’s processing fee is 1.5%

MOTO transactions cost slightly more because they carry higher fraud risk. Unlike in-person payments — where the card and cardholder are physically present — MOTO transactions can't verify identity as easily, so additional security measures are required. That added protection is reflected in the slightly higher processing cost.
