How do I process a MOTO payment?
MOTO payments are ideal for situations where the customer is unable to present their card in person, such as transactions completed by phone or mail order.
Before initiating a payment, confirm that MOTO functionality is enabled on your Zeller Terminal. For further info, view here
After logging into your Zeller Terminal, follow these steps:
- Select Take Payment from the navigation menu.
- Tap MODE on the top right of the screen and then select MOTO.
- The screen will display a blue background, indicating MOTO mode. Enter the amount to be charged using the keypad.
- Tap Manual Charge.
- The Zeller Terminal will prompt you to enter the customer's card number, expiry date and CVC.
- Tap Next.
- Tap Charge to complete the transaction.
After the payment is authorised, you may offer your customer a printed or digital receipt. If a receipt is not needed, tap New Sale to proceed.
